The CP1071PMR wheelchair-accessible cable protector is the complete solution for protecting large-diameter cables and hoses laid on the ground while maintaining accessibility for people with reduced mobility. With its 3 channels of Ø 65 × 65 mm — wider than standard models — it is ideal for installations requiring large-section cables. Resistant to vehicle loads of up to 40 tonnes (20 T per axle), it suits construction sites, professional events and heavy-traffic industrial zones alike.

Like the entire CP range, the CP1071PMR combines a high-density rubber base — robust, flexible and non-slip — with a high-visibility yellow polyurethane lid. This combination absorbs shocks and vibrations from repeated vehicle pass-overs while protecting cables from crushing. The yellow lid provides immediate visual signalling for drivers and pedestrians.
Its 3 channels of Ø 65 × 65 mm offer a greater passage capacity than the CP1031, accommodating very high-power supply cables, large-bore hydraulic or pneumatic hoses, or multiple cables grouped in a bundle.
The CP1071PMR kit is supplied complete with 2 wheelchair ramps — one at the front and one at the rear — enabling smooth, safe crossing for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, pushchairs and handling trolleys. The ramps lock onto the cable protector body via a reverse dovetail interlocking system, ensuring a firm, play-free assembly during use.
Left and right end caps (CPHE1071, 2 of each) are available as an option for angled configurations or neat terminations at the end of a run.
Each element is fitted with integrated carrying handles for easy handling, even for the heaviest pieces (78 kg for the complete CP1071PMR). Ground fixing holes are built into the body and ramps, allowing semi-permanent installation on concrete or tarmac surfaces where the site requires it. For temporary or event use, the kit sits freely without anchoring.

Both models share the same rubber/polyurethane technology and the same 40 T resistance. The key difference is channel size: the CP1031PMR has 3 channels of Ø 58 × 52 mm, suited to standard cables, while the CP1071PMR offers 3 channels of Ø 65 × 65 mm — a significantly larger cross-section — for very large-diameter cables, thick protective conduits or large-bore industrial hoses. The CPH1071SET ramps are also wider (910 × 648 mm) to match this larger footprint.
Yes. The CP1071PMR is supplied complete with 2 wheelchair ramps — one at the front and one at the rear. The CPH1071SET ramp set is a separately available accessory for installations requiring additional ramps, or to equip an existing CP1071.
The Ø 65 × 65 mm channels accommodate cables or hoses up to that diameter: medium-voltage cables, very high-power industrial supply cables, thick protective conduits, and large-bore pneumatic and hydraulic hoses. For smaller-diameter cables, several can be grouped together in a single channel.
No. The CPH1031SET ramps are designed for the CP1031 only. The CP1071PMR uses CPH1071SET ramps (910 × 648 mm), sized to fit the larger CP1071 body. The interlocking systems are not interchangeable between the two ranges.
Yes. The rubber base and polyurethane lid both withstand intensive outdoor conditions, including rain, humidity, freeze-thaw cycles down to -20°C and heat up to +60°C. The non-slip surface of the ramps retains its effectiveness even in wet conditions.
No, they are optional. The CPHE1071 end caps (2 right + 2 left) are recommended for angled installations, joins between two runs, or visible ends that need a clean finish — particularly in event settings or public access buildings.
