For transporting, storing and organising products simply and safely, the Euro norm lidded handling crate is a benchmark solution in professional environments. Made from food-grade polypropylene, it meets the strictest requirements of the food industry, logistics, manufacturing and distribution sectors. Stackable and palletisable, it integrates seamlessly into all existing storage and handling systems.
The crate features a reinforced base that provides excellent load-bearing performance, even during repeated handling or high stacking. Its 3 integrated handles make it easy to grip and carry, even when fully loaded. The lid effectively protects the contents against dust, splashes and external contamination.
Compliance with the Euro norm ensures full compatibility with standard handling equipment — trolleys, conveyors, racking systems and Euro pallets — making integration into existing logistics chains straightforward.
The polypropylene used is food-grade certified, authorising direct contact with foodstuffs, pharmaceutical products or any other product requiring a high level of safety. The material is inert, odourless, and resistant to grease and common cleaning products — making maintenance easy and ensuring optimal hygiene over time.
The crates stack securely on top of one another thanks to their adapted design, maximising the use of available height in warehouses or cold rooms. Palletisable, they slot directly into logistics flows without additional handling — reducing processing times and the risk of errors.
| Code | Max. Load (kg) | External Dimensions (mm) | Internal Dimensions (mm) |
|---|---|---|---|
| PC 10 NK | 10 | 400 × 300 × 133 | 363 × 263 × 114 |
| PC 24 NK | 10 | 600 × 400 × 133 | 563 × 363 × 114 |
| PC 33 NK | 20 | 600 × 400 × 183 | 563 × 363 × 167 |
Euro norm crates are dimensioned to fit exactly within the module of a Euro pallet (1200 × 800 mm), enabling optimal use of pallet surface with no wasted space. They are also compatible with all standardised handling and storage equipment — racking, conveyors, trolleys — making them interchangeable from one site to another and simplifying stock management.
The lid is included in the NK reference — it is an integral part of the crate as delivered. There is no need to order it separately. It fits and removes easily without tools, allowing quick access to the contents.
Polypropylene performs well at low temperatures and is suitable for positive cold room use. For deep-freeze applications (temperatures below -20°C), it is advisable to check the specific cold resistance of the polypropylene grade used, as some grades may become brittle at very low temperatures.
The PC 10 NK (400 × 300 mm) is suited to small volumes and confined spaces. The PC 24 NK (600 × 400 mm) offers greater capacity for light loads up to 10 kg. The PC 33 NK, taller at 183 mm, accommodates bulkier products with a maximum load rating of 20 kg.
Yes. The stackable design allows the crates to be stacked even with the lid in place, ensuring content protection while optimising the available storage height.
Yes. The Euro norm format guarantees full compatibility with standard trolleys, conveyors and racking systems. The 3 integrated handles also facilitate manual handling for operations without equipment.
