Manufactured from advanced shape-memory polyurethane, this industrial safety bollard is capable of bending under impact without cracking, splitting or suffering permanent deformation. When struck by a vehicle, forklift or handling equipment, it flexes to absorb kinetic energy and immediately returns to its original upright position. This elastic recovery system prevents structural damage to both the bollard and the impacting vehicle, making it particularly suitable for high-traffic warehouse environments, distribution centres and confined manoeuvring areas.
Unlike rigid steel or concrete posts that transmit impact force directly into the anchoring structure, this flexible polyurethane model dissipates energy progressively.
